Virtual drape test
What Season Am I? The 5-round drape test
How in-person draping works
- Hair is covered with a neutral cape so only skin, eyes and brows show.
- Fabric pairs at matching depth are swapped under the chin in daylight.
- The draper watches for shadows, redness and how clear the eyes look.
- Winners go forward until two neighboring seasons remain.
Decide in order: temperature, depth, clarity

1 · Temperature
Cool rose vs warm apricot at the same depth.
2 · Depth
Light oyster vs espresso — which one overpowers?
3 · Clarity
Dusty mauve vs clear raspberry — which looks alive?
Am I a winter or a summer?
Both are cool. Winter is clear and high-contrast; Summer is soft and blended. If pure white and black make your features pop, lean Winter; if they look harsh and soft grey looks better, lean Summer.

Light and photo tips
